You protect your home in the event of a
fire. You may have life insurance to pay off debt in the event
you die. Why not cover your earnings to keep your household
running should you become disabled? Your ability to learn
is your most valuable asset. Why not protect this asset with
Mortgagecover Disability Income coverage provided by Erie
Family Life and The Reagle Agency. We are very excited to
bring this coverage to you. If you want more information or
a no obligation quote, please call The Reagle Agency.
We have noticed an alarming trend in accident reports being
turned in by our customers. Those reports involve making left
turns in front of other people. These accidents tend to cause
severe damage to all of the parties involved, and in many
cases injuries to the people. We ask that you pay particular
attention when turning left across roadways. Don’t try to
beat on coming traffic. Be patient and a large enough space
in the traffic flow will develop to allow for a safe turn.
Siding and roofing restoration coverage has been developed
by Erie Insurance to reimburse the insured for the cost of
replacing undamaged siding and or roofing materials of the
dwelling when the materials on the covered loss area are no
longer available.
The coverage will apply only if the same siding or roofing
materials are no longer available for the damaged part of
the dwelling. This coverage does not apply to wooden siding,
stucco, brick, and shaker shingles. It applies only to vinyl
or aluminum siding, and composite shingles. The coverage does
not apply to mismatches caused solely by fading, weathering
or wear and tear. Payment of the claim will not be made until
the roofing or siding replacement is complete. If you think
your siding or roofing materials are no longer available,
then you should make this inexpensive addition to your homeowners
policy.
New legislation has been enacted stating that all ATV’s must
be registered with the exception of those used solely for
farming or business. There is no longer an exception for ATV’s
used solely on your own land. The type of registration needed
is called limited registration. Limited registration is free
and does not expire; however, a registration plate is issued
and must be affixed to the ATV.
The new law also requires liability insurance for ATV’s. However
this requirement does not apply for ATV’s that are used solely
on land owned or leased by the operator or owner of the ATV.
As the holiday season approaches, everyone tends to be in
the car more. Whether it is visiting family and friends or
a quick trip to the mall, we seem to do much more driving
than normal. Here are some travel tips that will help make
your holiday travel time safer and more enjoyable.
Use caution when using your cell phone. A conservative estimate
is that cell phone distraction causes 150,000 accidents per
year. So please pull over when using your phone.
Keep children comfortable in the car. A crying baby can shift
a parent’s attention from driving. If you are taking an extended
trip, make sure there are enough bathroom breaks, snacks,
and entertainment to keep your children happy, and always
make sure they are strapped in.
Make sure your windshield and headlights are clean. This
helps cut down on glare and improves visibility. Which is
vitally important when traveling on snow and ice.
The above are tips to help keep you from being distracted
while driving, but nothing replaces your full attention being
placed on the road. That is the best way to keep you and your
family safe. |
